CVC’s Public Access Channel 5 New Programs for June 2010

Attention Vernon residents live Town Council meetings will now be starting at 7PM! Town Council Meetings will be live on Channel 96 on July 6th, starting at 7:00PM with repeats throughout the month. CVC will help keep you up to date with the information, so you can keep an eye on what’s happening in your area. As always we will bring you the latest meetings from Andover, Bolton, Hebron, Marlborough, Tolland, and Vernon, CT **Please note that meeting dates and times are subject to change or be cancelled without our knowledge, please confirm with your town that these meetings will be taking place.
*** Producers need to notify Amy Heavisides (CVC_Production_Manager@Comcast.net) of any new programs (live or taped) for August by July 15, 2010.

The schools are out for summer. Our producers have been busy getting the year end events together, so friends, family & community members can see what events have been taking place in their local school systems. From Vernon School Systems we have new for July: June 14, 2010 Vernon board of Education Awards Rockville High School Graduation 2010 Lake Street Schools Fine Arts Night 2010 Maple Street School Student Showcase 2010 from producer Kathy Lynch. This program includes performances by the 3rd grade singers, 4th & 5th grade chorus & the 5th grade band. You will also find highlights of student art work from preschool to 5th Grade.

Well summer is finally here. CVC Producers continue to go out in the community and bring back the latest events for our viewers. If you know of an event that is coming up, why not take one of our classes and share the event with your neighbors and friends on CVC. |

If you are looking for music than CVC’s channel 5 is ready for you. We have producers bringing us local talent. Fom producer Mike May we have; Dust in the Wind and Geoffrey & Mike. Tune in and see what its all about. From CVC producer Carl Slicer, who brings us his monthly series; Tolland County Economy, this month he has a special treat. Carl brings us the DesChamplain Brothers parts one & two. This is separate from Tolland County Economy, but with the same local flair. Dave, Ray, & Kevin DesChamplain all brothers from Ellington – Stafford area: former band members of Stryder, are back playing music. They have resurrected the band that was popular in the eighties, so whether you remember them from your youth or you’ve never heard of them check them out on channel 5 in July. |
