Text Box: Vernon residents live Town Council meetings start at 7PM.  The Vernon Town Council Meeting will be live on Channel 96 July 19th with repeats throughout the month. 
We will also have taped meetings for Bolton, Tolland, and Hebron.  If you are interested in seeing your towns meetings on CVC please contact us about taking a workshop – all meetings are taped by volunteers, check with your school to see if it will fulfill your community service requirements.  Please check our program guide to see when the meetings will air – please note CVC does not have any control over cancelled meetings or meetings not showing up in time for cablecast. 
**** Live programming cannot be seen on AT&T U-Verse at this time.  U-Verse customers and Comcast customers can look in our program guide for re-cablecasting dates of live programming.  Sorry for any inconvenience this is an AT&T issue.

UConn Intramural Hockey

Producer Kathy Lynch has five new games for our viewers.  The games are from the fall semester of 2007. So, if it gets too hot outside, come inside, cool off and watch some hockey.

Text Box: Schools have wrapped up for the season. Thankfully CVC’s volunteers have been busy all year filming events.  Thanks to our volunteers we still have plenty of new exciting programming to get us through the summer

Tolland North Cemetery Civil War Reenactment:

Brought to us from CVC producer Perne Maynard.  This program comes just in time during the month in which we will celebrate the birth of our country.  Take a step back in time and enjoy this program and the local roots from which our country was born.

Abe Lincoln Visits the Tolland Historical Society:

This show is also brought to us from Perne Maynard.  Abe Lincoln attended the annual meeting of the Tolland Historical Society on June 5, 2011.  He gave a presentation for those at the meeting and now for CVC viewers.

CVC is pleased to have the RHS class of 2011’s graduation to air for our viewers.  If you were unable to attend or would just like to see it again, we will be airing the graduation all month so check out our program guide for dates and times.

From CVC producer Ray Luce, we have the fifth episode of MC Roadcrew.  For those that are riders themselves or those that like bikes, here is a show for you.

Bolton Town Administrator’s Report:

Producer and host Joyce Stille will be sitting down this month to talk with CVC’s own Helen Chatel.  Joyce will discuss the latest events at the Community Voice Channel with CVC’s station manager.  This program will be live on July 5th at 10:30am and be repeated on July 12th at 10:30am.

CVC has again partnered with Bolton Center School and created a video club comprised of students in the 6th through 8th grade.  Over the 2010-2011 school year students worked with their advisor Ms. Luci Leone and CVC staff on filming, editing, interviewing, and creating a script for their final project.
