CVC’s Highlights of New Programs for December 2011

Public, Educational, Government Access for Andover, Bolton, Ellington, Hebron, Marlborough,, Tolland and Vernon, CT

CVC volunteer producer Chris Moyer creates a monthly series called “Service Above Self”. This month’s episode explores how local doctors are helping those in need in other countries.  Medical professionals from across the US frequently take part in trips abroad to offer their services for no cost.  Our guest on this episode is Dr. Kevin Norige, a dentist from South Windsor, who talks about a recent mission trip he took to Guatemala to provide free dental care to the locals who need it.

Channel 5 New Programs for December

The holidays are upon us and soon winter will be in full swing. Though we had a glimpse of winter at the end of October, we have been fortunate to have a few mild days this past November.  In preparation for the cold winter days ahead, CVC volunteer producers have been busy creating new programming for you to stay inside and watch, when the weather outside is frightful.

While the 2011 mayoral election for Vernon has already taken place. This program was taped prior to the elections and was not able to air due to scheduling conflicts and power outages. However, for those that would like an opportunity to see this event, we are happy to show it here.   Click here Shows on channel 5 this month.
